Mi ciudad testigo de mis vivencias
Mi ciudad una daga clavada en mi pecho
Mi ciudad ídolo de mi única creencia
Mi ciudad una antitesis de amor y despecho
Madrid tan dentro de mí que duele
Pues no puedo contener mi llanto
Hasta el cielo lloró aquel
Para ti son mis versos gran ciudad del encanto
En tus cielos reflejas la pasión y el odio
En tus suelos se marca el ritmo del corazón
Ver tu amanecer es como ser primero en podio
Y tu brisa vespertina hace que entre en acción
Y te brinde cada día una nueva poesía
Para que tus lágrimas se acaben de secar
Para que sigas siendo el testigo de mi vida
Y de mi mente ni en mi muerte puedas escapar
Cuantos rostros iluminados por tu sol
Cuantos rostros has visto fallecer
El terrorismo no podrá con mi amor
Que siento por Madrid y su bello atardecer
Tus parques testigos mudos de pasiones
Tus cielos ojos abiertos al presente
Intentando olvidar aquellas explosiones
Pasado muerto y ojos al frente
Cada ser que murió ahora es una estrella
Estarán iluminando la ciudad entera
Harán de tu luna y de tu noche la más bella
Pues para siempre Madrid será eterna

Que es mi manera de poder agradecerte
Que cuidaras de mí desde el día en que nací
Ya que eres el techo donde puedes guarecerte
Tus asfaltos arden por el corazón de tu gente
Aunque haya odio siempre vencen las sonrisas
Pues somos gente con un corazón caliente
Que damos todo cuando no sonríe tu brisa
Un día sin tu sol no se que seria
El 11 te nublaste y perdiste mucha vida
Perdiste muchos hijos pero ganaste millones
En la lucha por la paz somos superiores
La gente muy pronto se echó a las calles
Con una de sus manos en el corazón
